“Read not to contradict and confute, nor just to believe and take for granted but to weigh and consider”
“Hear them, read, mark, learn and inwardly digest”
“There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation”
“We of Alcoholics Anonymous, are more than one hundred men and women who have recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body. To show other alcoholics precisely how we have recovered is the main purpose of this book…”

- Spiritual milestones in AA
- Second reader for Alcoholics Anonymous
- The Akron Guide to the Twelve Steps
- Am I an alcoholic
- Daily moral inventory
- Why we were chosen
- Resentments pamphlet
