Our commitment to our clients starts with the first contact we have with you. We try to make the process of web design and building as painless as possible. Our initial consultation and design is completely without obligation on your part, and we are available to answer any queries you might have.
We will discuss your requirement with you by phone, email or in person (your choice), completely free of charge. This will include a discussion on what you want from your site, any likes and dislikes and your timescales. We can then advise you as to the best approach, which may involve analysing an existing site, checking out the marketplace or doing some research for you. Should this analysis turn up the fact that your existing website is fine - then we will tell you. We won't charge you to do work which is unnecessary.
Should you wish to take our web design service further, we will
produce two designs for you as part of a design document. This
document details all the components and decisions to be made.
You can then ask for changes, tweaks and updates to the designs until we reach one that you are happy with. (still not costing you anything!)
When you are happy with a design, we will start work on it for you. (At this point, we will ask for a
payment of 25% of the cost). We will produce a fully working mock-up of your site, for you to play around with.
We can then make further tweaks as necessary.
We can now start adding the content. We will be able to write some of it for you, and for the rest will happily deal with emails, faxes, documents, brochures and the backs of envelopes to get the rest. If push comes to shove, we have been known to take dictation too! Pictures for the site can either be supplied by you, or we can source them from an image library.
Once the site is complete, you get to check it out some more on our servers. When you are happy, we will move it to the
final hosting solution (which we can provide if you wish). We will submit it to search engines and perform all the necessary
validation checks on it before it is put live.
At this point a further 50% of the total payment will be requested.
You now get a further month to check out your site. We will fix any bugs you find and perform final tweaks before you receive our final invoice.
